All our mountain hunts are done over free range areas, still providing excellent trophy quality.
Most of the hunts are done in private areas, and they start early in the morning from the hunting lodge, moving around the areas by 4x4 vehicles, and making the final stalk by foot. Still, good physical conditions will improve your hunting success.
As well, we have a long hunting season, which goes from September until the end of May. Being the best period from October to December, which it’s rutting time for most our game, especially the four species on Ibex, both chamois and mouflon.
We cover the four subspecies of Spanish Ibex
(Gredos, Beceite, Southeastern and Ronda Ibex)
Gredos Ibex
The trophied lira shaped horns and the particular landscape of the amazing Gredos mountains, makes this one of the top hunts for the avid trophy hunter.
Beceite Ibex
The typical horn configuration of the Beceite Ibex with an average trophy of over 30 inches in length, it’s a unique animal.
We recommend this hunt during rutting time.
Southeastern Ibex
This great trophy, with horns curled backwards, the beauty of the Sierra Nevada range, rising from the spectacular town of Granada, all the way to the mediterranean sea, will make an unforge table hunt, that will last long in the hunter’s memory.
Ronda Ibex
The most southerly of the Spanish Ibex, and the smallest of them, body and trophy size, average trophy length is around 23 inches.
Steeps cliffs, mixed with very dense ravines are the usual habitat of this Ibex.

Iberian Red Deer
The Best time to hunt the Iberian Red Deer is from September to February.
In order to get the best animals like to hunt them during the rutting season, and in our hunting areas this occurs between September 20th and October 10th.

Fallow Deer
This beautiful and elusive animal is found in many private estates all over Spain. The normal way to hunt them is stalking them or waiting at feeding places.
It can be combined with most of the hunts we offer.

Iberian Mouflon
One of the smallest bodied sheep that can be found.
The mouflon was introduced in Spain from the island of Corsica at the end of the 19th century.
The eyesight of this animal is outstanding, making this hunt very exiting.
Cantabrian chamois
Both species require good physical condition. The best time it’s on the tour (from October to November), and this hunt can be combined with most of the other species.
Pyrinean chamois
Roe Deer
One of our favorites. This small deer offers one of the most interesting hunts available in Spain.
The best season for roe deer are the months from April to July, and this hunt can be combined with IBEX and Wild Boar.
Barbary Sheep
Introduced from the Atlas Mountain of Marruecos 30 years ago, this animal has expanded to out areas in southern Spain.
Wild boar
This powerful animal is found all over Spain. It can be taken while hunting other species, but special hunts can be arranged.
The best way is to wait at his feeding areas at night, when these animals are most active.
Balearean Boc
One of the newest Spanish species in SCI.
We organize special hunts for this elusive animal in the island of Mallorca, only 50 minutes flight from Madrid.

You may have heard about our typical way of hunt, where we use hunderds of dogs, to force the game (mainly deer and wild boar) into the guns.
